The Krow's Nest: My Skyrim Grievance
So, I hate to be one of those ppl who start bitching at a game before it even hits shelves, but I have a grievance concerning TES V. So its become painstakingly clear to me as of late that we will be starting the game as another filthy, no name, prisoner at the begining of Skyrim. This wouldn’t… Actually, Bethsoft has already made a statement about why they’re starting us as a prisoner. Part of it is tradition, and a bigger part of it is that it allows you to make your own backstory, one you can be happy with. As for Fallout 3’s play from birth scenario, most people I know, myself included, hated that sequence. The general trend was to save right before leaving into the wastes so you could redo your stats and appearance without all the bs. It also annoyed me that you were technically about 18 in Fallout 3 when almost every character looked about 22. Long story short, I’d rather make my own backstory than have one I dislike forced on me. (Source: horustheavenger)

I’ve been building a tyranid army for Warhammer 40k that focuses on long range attacks. I have a squad of gaunts from the battle box that I’ve been putting off building because they’re close range. Then it hit me. I have a bunch of tyranid guns left from building the termigants. I can just convert the gaunts into gants. Awesome.
